Systemic regeneration — maybe it’s a good solution for our economy

--

It is too late for “sustainability” as we know it (timing, if we decide to go for it = over 150 years; ex. real estate renovation rate is +/- 0,7%/year).

We would need to extract more mineral resources than since the beginning of humanity.

Over 50% of the population is mentally “in the orange” or red (stress, fear, burnout, anxiety,…). Nothing interesting will happen like that.

“Extractive” businesses go on day after day, but with a green pullover.

Systemic regeneration, what is it ?

Systemic: It is like shifting from aspirin treatments for a cancer patient, to a holistic treatment of the origins of the illness : drastic diet, lifestyle, chemio, radiotherapy, acupuncture,… Understanding that all organs are connected, and that the illness comes from an origin — instead of only treating the aches.

Regeneration of:

  1. People: ourselves, by reconnecting to purpose, passions, excellences, to our body and emotions, to our relation to earth and common good. Healthy lifestyles (https://www.bluezones.com/). Healthy management styles and social structures. Collective intelligence serving progress.
  2. Our Biotope: replanting diversified biotopes, gardens, forests, switch from extractive chemical agroculture, to regenerative for soils. Villages and people around should be able to live from, in and by thoses biotopes, with new ecosystems of jobs in those bufferzones (agriculture, eco-building,…).
  3. Economy: work on the nextgen jobs which are based on profitable, efficient regenerative “multisolutions” business models. Yes, they exist, and they can/should be built near existing businesses, as ecosystems of new teams and exciting nextgen businesses, capitalizing on the best of what we have (www.kairosmultisolutions.org).
