Postpone regenerating biodiversity : insane choice of western governments

--

“They” want a pause on environmetal regulations. Typical negative side effect of their inability to deal with systemic challenges. “They” would be happy to concentrate for the next decade on lowering CO2-emissions, and deal with “the rest of it” — including regenerating biodiversity — lateron… (starting with french and belgian governments).

It would “buy time” for companies and governments till 2050 to go on with destructive behaviours of industry on living biotopes. Worse, it could kill the remaining a large chunck of the remaining 30% of biodiversity worldwide.

By that time we would probably have stopped talking, as a whole humanity. Check the regularly updated collapse-curves of the Meadows reports:

Time for systemic trouble-shooting. Performant regenerative solutions exist !

But maybe, maybe the agendas have nothing to do with climate change… but with enhancing fear within population, as a very ancient recipe to keep pressure and power on citizens. It could be true, and as a beginning of evidence: we have heard not much on adaptation on climate change. Climate is changing yes, and will change more — whether we like it or not. Like it did in recent history. Not a scoop. Numerous techniques exist to mitigate it and create resilience, whilst regenerating biotopes, and create flowing rivers. Where are those strategies ??? I didn’t see much, except in China, India, and some african countries.

Why ?

Incompetence or mass-manipulation ? Or both ?
